A Last Goodbye, Farewell

I have known the burdens of my heart
Consumed with the fire that burns
As bright as the evening star
Troubled within the confusion of life's illusion
Shall I question thee before I sleep

Will my soul awaken and cover me
As I wait for you by the seed of the naked flame
Beneath the lights of the heavens
In the stillness of the night

Cover me oh wait for me
Beneath the northern lights
For the fires that burn before us
Will outlast us

Will the essence of our light keep us
Beneath the stars tonight
A last goodbye, farewell
To you my love
Beneath the northern lights
