Alas I Know My Thoughts Are True
Should have been something blue
Alas I know my thoughts are true
For they’re echoes in the wind
To utter words where to begin
It wasn’t me before the sea
To question this in misery
Hollowed by thy sound of harps
Among the heavens where tears depart
Mid enchanted sombre breeze
Collapse among the fall of leaves
Humble how the stars appear
Among the heavens, this time of year
Mid enchantment sombre night
To bask among the morning light
Glisten beauties besiege my plight
Among the heavens, they’re in your light
