Among The Shadows

The hangman noose around my neck to shadow life without respect misery breeds with my contempt to bide my way and pay the rent

Among The Shadows

The hangman noose around my neck
To shadow life without respect
Misery breeds with my contempt
To bide my way and pay the rent

Less it be as now is
To serve among the world of his
Serve not yon gentry or lonely suitor
For I have lived among polluters

Shun not, less ye be hated
Less ye have know the thoughts, I’ve contemplated

Gruesome how the daylight dims
Among the shadows of my limbs
Aloft there are the clouds so high
To shift among the cloudy skies

Avail in this, with a single notion
Where we are seeds upon an endless ocean
Besieged in what, and to what forthwith
Less ye be lonely, then be burden with this
