Autumn

Nurtured vessel of the scene
Beneath the pines in evergreen
Beneath the shadowed morning light
Beautiful wonders within my sight

Echoed whispers in silence speak
Softly echoed whispers, I long to keep
A solemn passage seldom read
Thoughts are riddled in my head

Palomino moonlit, light of June
Beneath a sea of stars in plume
Speckled light awaits the moon
Within the sheltered light of June

Autumn leaves are falling down
Knotted limbs are withered brown
While the leaves are swept away
Alas one glimpse before the haze
