Behind My Eyes

Is this heart broiled
Within a sea of mixed emotion
With this thought a single notion
Is my life and endless ocean
Of fear and doubt?
Is there a reason?
For why my heart is calling out
When there is screaming
I hold no fear

And weep and shed a solum tear
As my light begins to disappear

Is there hope beyond these fears?
Lost within my fallen years
Where life is not over shadowed
By hidden pain that weeps inside

For every time I shut my eyes
I can feel the pain and tears
Behind my eyes
