Bound In Youth
Peerless clouds in endless skies
To live beneath and feel the highs
Me and mine in memory
But I'm neither form nor enemy
Wherefore unwilling in heavens lore
From whence we grieved, and the souls explore
For in the innocence of my youth
I was mystified by formless words, but bound in truth
Penitence the earthward clasped
And there were moments where I lapsed
Inwrought in youth, but bound in truth
Was I lost within the infancy of my youth
Amber-morn the sun shone bright
Beneath the beacon of heavens light
Mortal thoughts I had embarked
And over time they left their mark
Echoing within obscurity
Untruthful, without impurity
Amorously the flashes fled
And there were thoughts within my head
Four scorn, but never rotten
I am hope and not forgotten
