Desire
By the river she stands
In the silence she weeps
Waiting, and hoping for the tenderness
Of loves sweet tender kiss
Will she ever know the warm embrace?
Of loves burning embers
Within the seed of her heart
To long and to hold
That is her desire
Beneath the pale moonlit skies she cries
All the faded years and silent tears
That she has shed
Longing and wanting
To know the seed of love
That beats within her heart
As the light dims
She calls upon the heavens
Why have you forsaken me
Upon this night
