Faded Words

Faded words upon the winds
Whisper the essence of your name
The sunrise radiates the essence of your smile
And all the while I sit in the presence of your beauty
That shines with the love that holds your heart
A love that I hope will never tear us apart

For I take a breath and I know I only breathe for you
The love of sweet enchantment is the essence that is you
A heart so sweet and tender a love that is so pure
The love that I have found is experienced by so few

A light of a single candle will light the passage to my heart
The rose petals of a thousand flowers will mark the passage
To the essence of my love and I will always love you
With the signing of the dove

For if I sail upon the oceans across the seven seas
Would I ever find a love that could compare?
To the love that I have found
For as I watch the lights of the heavens
I know there is no greater love
Then when I am there holding you within my arms
