George Fishers Ghost

Standing on the jetty
Staring out across the bay
An erie mist rolls in from nowhere
I nearly lost my way

I turned to make my way back from where I came
Right behind me to my surprise
Stood a man all dressed in white
He smiles as he asks me if he can help
I said,"Yes my man I seem to be a little lost"
He turned and pointed to the road ahead
I said,"Thanks my friend"
And continued on my way

I woke early the next morning and headed to the store
To ask the store keeper if he had seen that man before
He said,"Yes my boy I have indeed"
With fear there in his eyes
I said,"What is it man"
He said to me,"You've seen george fishers ghost"
