Ghostly Encounters

Long have I waited within the depths of my own despair so desolate am I beneath this shadow cast by blood the flows like quick sand sinking within the vessels of my veins flows bleed the venom blends

Ghostly Encounters

Long have I waited within the depths of my own despair
So desolate am I beneath this shadow cast
By blood the flows like quick sand
Sinking within the vessels of my veins
Flows bleed the venom blends

The bitter cold my shaking hand
Beneath the seed of this claimed
For the illness that moves without a name

With the desolate look of my despair
With blinking eyes but never a care
Are they aware that I am near
Lost in a world riddled with fear
Unable to shed a single tear

Only to recover and return, With the passage of time
To only witness the sacrifice lost
If only I could remember the infinite cost
A friendly reminder that you were there
Ghostly encounters that we have both shared
Beyond the look of my desolate stare
