Hallowed Tears

Glimpse once and say it twice for the heart has cooled and turned to ice no longer has my body warmth among the havens in the north

Hallowed Tears

Glimpse once and say it twice
For the heart has cooled and turned to ice
No longer has my body warmth
Among the havens in the north

Twice the light, that leaves my eyes
A last sweet chance in paradise
Warm thy body with thy breath
A testament towards thyself

Prison beads to bring me down
Hallowed tears on common ground

To lapse around the candle flame
And honour you in vestige fame
No two light could shine as bright
Beside your flame in candle light

Lonely beacon of the night
Alas you’re here within my sight
Caress the moon, cascade of stars
Among the soil of urban scars

Scars among the mountains steep
Alas to know the tears you weep

Clamour to the light of hope
Besieged upon the sliver of rope
Bound our we in velvet chains
Among the light of candle flames
