Hang It On A Tuesday
Silkwood movie hang it on a Tuesday
Everybody out there, always trying to use me
Has there ever been a chance
When people see right through me
Tired of what I've become
When will I come undone
For what light shines and doesn't fade
Beneath the sky this cloudy day
Where thirst is rivet and sleek of hand
For here I stand a simple man
No need to beg nor need for sorrow
No tears shall I weep for this tomorrow
Bored on the great divide where will I run
Nowhere to hide, beneath the stars
And shimmering lights
An eerie mist beside the pale moonlight
That beckons to the sandy shore
Where waves now rest forever more
As they surrender, with the sound of a sudden roar
