Heart & Soul

The Heart is an ocean of emotion
Tears like rivers flow down the face
Like rivers through the forest
Changing direction as it flows

Sadness capped with sorrow
The temple of the inner pain
Escapes the evil shadow
Silent in seduction standing in the pouring rain

The light of love may enter but will it ever heal this pain
Only time will be the judge if he will love again
Tears filled with sorrow and the emotions start to flow
The breaking heart is an open wound of pain

Darkened with the feelings of disappear
The lonely look of anger and feel yourself disappear
Into the silence that is the prison of your mind
The only way to be happy is to take a little time

To know yourself is to know your soul
The gift of life to us you know
The healing light of a blessing
Will be the dressing for the heart and soul
