Hearts Are Like An Endless Ocean

Silent night, my celestial light
Linger here when I am near
There is no need for you to fear

Through the valley of the sands
I’ve seen the passage of my hands
Bound beneath the worlds as I am
Who among us understands?

There is hope on each horizon
Mesmerize it’s so inviting
Cold for the day is long
And still I hear that same old song

Free falling to the ground
Are there echoes all around?
Dim light in the month of May
Change what other people say

I’ve lived a life of disarray
Tormented by the things that others say
Hearts are like an endless ocean
Mixed with all the purest notions
