Hopelessly In Love
Hope or hopelessly in love
Ensured with feeling is it ever enough
One day at life and one life at best
A noble deed I must confess
As daylight falls before my eyes
Is there the hope that I’ll realize
The flurries of my gentle heart
That quivers when the tears depart
Had I endured the hardships earned
And watched the passionate candle burn
Warmth had comforted me when I was cold
And how I yearn to warm myself now that I am old
Jest I may by daylight gray
For I am caught in disarray
Say what you will, but never stay
Life leads to rivers that flow with love
But is it ever really enough| Poetry 1 | Poetry 2 | Poetry 3 | Poetry 4 || Poetry 5 | Poetry 6 | Poetry 7 | Poetry 8 |
