Living In This World Of Hope

Assume not, less ye be known where for art you know my home where once was solace now I hear the tears of malice

Living In This World Of Hope

Assume not, less ye be known
Where for art you know my home
Where once was solace
Now I hear the tears of malice

Shall I bleed and less ye feed
May the echoes whisper with this creed
For I'm the flower and you're the seed

Shadows shelter me from pain
While children dance beneath the rain
And even when the fields sleep
I pray the lord my soul to keep

Withered be thy hand in yours
And now we've found the real cause

Even when the cups half empty
In my heart hope dwells a plenty
Living in this world of hope
Who could compare this note

Shame for not, nor what we've lost
For who among us could count the cost
