May The Trumpets Sound
Compare to thee a summer's breeze
Upon this mid enchanted night
As the winds blow in
Upon the new horizon
Beneath the stars tonight
May the light on a distant shoreline
Shine upon the waters
To remind me of my fellow man
May the sounds of thunder call
To remind me that I am not alone
As I walk in the darkness
Towards the golden light
May I understand
The compassion of my feelings
As I walk within the light of the heavens
May the trumpets sound
To honour the presence of my life
