Mountain Rangers Part 2 - The Chase
It was early morning in the highlands
The rain was on the way
There was a mist over the mountain ranges
As the ranger rode again
He was after the mighty wild stallion
That was seen on the flats just the other day
The word had got around fast that
The wild stallion had fled into the highlands
many miles away
The ranger traveled far just to hunt the wild stallion down
Then suddenly he appeared and the chase was on
Across the rugged mountain ranges
To the valley below they fly through the forest
At the speed of light
Then he chased the stallion down the mountain
As he held the reins tight he was heading to the river bed
Just out of sight he hit the mighty river at the speed of light
The horse stumbled and the wild stallion got away
But the ranger would return to do battle another day| Poetry 1 | Poetry 2 | Poetry 3 | Poetry 4 || Poetry 5 | Poetry 6 | Poetry 7 | Poetry 8 |
