Nature Of Us All

From the howling winds to the break of dawn
The wild calls of nature beckons to us all
The gift of mother nature's gift
Leaves a lesson to be learned
By those of us who stand tall

Before the night comes to call
Shall we answer to the heavens
As they reflect the window of our soul
Lost in the darkness with only love to guide the way

Where rivers run should tears flow
Or are just we lost in the madness
Searching for the path to our homes
Or are we just part of the mother natures plan
And the caretakers of the land
Or are we slaves to this land

For the feelings of us all will span the test of time
As the endless journey of our lives will always twist and turn
Like the winds along a passage
Or the wave that crashes upon the shore
We shall rise and we shall fall as that's the nature of us all
