On Lonely Street

Fade from black there be no turning back to long for the journey now I'm on the ride I'll be yours if I can stay for the night if only I could feel your body lying next to mine

On Lonely Street

Fade from black there be no turning back
To long for the journey now I'm on the ride
I'll be yours if I can stay for the night
If only I could feel your body lying next to mine
It wouldn't be a crime or money on a dime

Sway what can I say
Are you ever going to go my way
Is it right to live for the day
Would all my memories simply fade
As the daylight slips into the grey
If I saw at the shelter hiding from the pouring rain
Would it save me from shame if I just asked you, your name
Would make it any easier, if I told you that hearts can change

Pain lingers on lonely street, beneath my feet
I can hear the rhythm urban beat
Would our lives be any better
Or taste just as bitter sweet
