One Hand In Friendship Compels Us Most

Twilight glisten in eternal night and there are stars within my sight less we forget that we may be alone nor are we prisoners to our earthly home

One Hand In Friendship Compels Us Most

Twilight glisten in eternal night
And there are stars within my sight
Less we forget that we may be alone
Nor are we prisoners to our earthly home

For man has travelled to the moon
And yet we are bound in life's cocoon
For we have loved and shared our hearts
And there have been tears beside the harps

Harp not on the short coming in life
For without hope we are bound for strife
For today's children our tomorrows future
And we are burdened by our polluters

For it is found in all the races
That we share tears with humble faces
Hope doesn't spring from what we've lost
We should show an interest in what it's cost

For there is acid rains across the dusty plain
And children dying in innocent claims

But there is love within our hearts
So why is it in human nature to fall apart
When there are other things that need to matter most

One hand in friendship compels us most
And we carry faith in the Holy Ghost
And Jesus said as it is written
Do unto each other in love emitting

For this could be our finest hour
Turn away from hatred in the turbulent showers
No two wrongs can make things right
For shadowing dawn of distant light
