One Breath In Beat, And Heart Therein
I caught a rainbow, riding moonbeams
Like stars, within the valley of my dreams
Nobody screams and so it seems
When daylight rises in the east
I'll show no shame before the beast
Unless I am saved and he be less
Set the table before this feast
To taste and yet not for waste
One drop of blood, and here I haste
One breath in beat and heart therein
And there is hope in you my kin
I shall stand tall and speak aloud
For faith is mine and I am proud
No words are uttered, unless uttered alone
For there is love that I have known
And there is desperation in the seeds I've sown
And with that thought I'm not alone
For in my heart, there is my home
