One Cross Was Bared To Bare His Weight

So sweet to taste of these succulent treats easter is here and twice as sweet one man has given and so much to the light of heavens touch

One Cross Was Bared To Bare His Weight

So sweet to taste of these succulent treats
Easter is here and twice as sweet
One man has given and so much
To the light of heavens touch

One cross was bared to bare his weight
And we were chosen not by faith
Fellow man, my sisters and brothers
He was a man unlike any other

A rose among the boundless thorn's
To mark the passage, heavens born
The saviour rose to guide our way
And to this sacrifice, I have prayed

For there is life beyond the grave
And there is hope that we might be saved
Remember all the things that we adore
All because of that sacred Easter morn

We gained so much before the cross
Nothing cherished is ever lost
Just hidden behind that sacred cross
