Reflections Of The River Tides
Void of thoughts, that interlude
No not one change among the hue
Reflections of the river tides
Glisten upon the shadowed leaves in sight
Sway, sway softly in the breeze
Among the sound of falling leaves
The canopy so plush and green
Cascade the chasm of thy dream
Dream, a dream the day is long
To bastion for the sound of song
Crickets sound through the trees
Like lonely strangers in the eves
As the leaves begin to fall
Among the swell of sombre scrawl
Rustic, how the river looks
Shimmering stones beneath the brook
