Remember

Remember me in silence
Upon the eve of pouring rain
Beneath the stars I linger
Waiting for the first rays of light to dawn
To hear the humble echoes and answer to the call

Remember me in the springtime
When the flowers come into bloom
I will be the one there in silence
That moves across the grassy plain

For I will be beside you on the eve of summer rains
I will be the one to guide you
With my heart I'll be the flame

With the crest of my sweet whisper
Take each moment and seize the day
I am a thought of pure splendour
But of a whisper just the same

I am the hope of human kindness
That drives the world today
Besiege my natural slender
And live each moment seize the day
