Sagrite Said And So I Heard

Cumber sent the daylight be
As the river rushes to the sea
Fortitude gave way to flight
Beneath the sky that crescent night
Bark beside the moonlight yet
I hold my head with no regret

No flurry held within my sight
Nor shall I live to serve and fight
Only to live and die another day
Beside the heavens as I pray

Linger here from this day forth
And know to ill winds the blow in from the north
And let it be know from this day forth

I shall not weep beside the sea
To honour thought of you and thee
Passage be by passage made
That borders beyond the light this day

Sagrite said and so I heard
The passage of the written word
Fore scorn and yet within this state
I hold on dearly to my own fate
