Shimming Lights Of Chicago Bay

Tuscan red by silver thread While thoughts just seem to linger in my head Shimmering lights of Chicago bay That glisten before the light of day

Shimming Lights Of Chicago Bay

Tuscan red by silver thread
While thoughts just seem to linger in my head
Shimmering lights of Chicago bay
That glisten before the light of day

To sit and wonder before the sky
As clouds seem to drift slowly by

To sigh and weep before my keep
Where now I rest my head to sleep

No ounce of pain nor shed of tear
No longer shall I live in fear
Even though my end is near

There is no need for selfish tears
Over long lost days and fallen years

Even when I disappear
My presence will remain right here
Even though I'm lost, I am always here
There is no need for you to fear
