Shouldn’t Be Misunderstood
Buckwheat dusk, the hollowed mourn
Alas to feel the heart in swarm
Pulse be thy rhythm within my feet
To touch the earth an earthly treat
Pleasure breathe upon my lips
Like the purest honey drips
Hereto and here within
To utter words where to begin
Limerick line of living wood
Shouldn’t be misunderstood
Mumbo-jumbo, maverick kings
To bring the heavens earthly things
And justify in this upon my leisure
To bring you gifts of earthly pleasure
Ravenous be thy rose in stare
With such a smile and lock of hair
Serenade, the sound of song
To look at you and dance along
