Sombre Morning In The Light

Sombre morning in the light
To quest before the day so bright
Alas to be imprisoned in the prism of time
Should it be spoken in the passage of rhyme

Nobel jest behind these lines
How was it so, that I was hindered by the signs
And there are times with no regret
And yet there are occasions when I relent

Serpents coiled with intended plans
Where grains now rest upon thy hand
How I have longed to understand
For there are promises within this land

For twice the world had born anew
Among the heavens a mid azure
