Spirit Fire

When you are down on your luck
Is there enough essence left in your life
To listen to the inner voice inside
Coming straight from your heart

Now shut your eyes and wait for a while
As you listen to the inner voice inside
Does your spirit from within breathe through the opening?
For the heart is sure to die

But the spirit will take flight
With the essence of the spirit fire
Does it lift your spirits higher?
As you walk within the light of the spirit fire

Open your eyes do you still feel
The essence of your life
For the spirit will survive
The greatest test in life
If you walk within the light of the spirit fire
