As I walk the journey
To the place I call my home
Swept up in the heart's emotions

The gift of your love and friendship
Is there to light my way
As I travel through life's journey

The gift of your friendship
Has warmed me in so many ways
For when I'm lost in sadness
I know your always there to help me find the way

You share in all my happiness and emotions
You help me with all the love and tribulation
That I encounter along the way

The things I need to tell you my friend
And this will never change the love I keep inside
That special place inside my heart
Is the light that leads me on my way

The gift for you is friendship
Is the blessing in my day
