To The Heavens I Pray

To have felt your pressence
And to have felt your warmth
Beneath the stars so bright
by the sea I shall pray
To hold you upon this night
To cherish this moment as we dance in the light
To the heavens I pray for you my sweet
As I rest my head at the base of your feet
My heart will beat to the sound of your breath
Our love will endure the greatest of tests
For you are the one an here I will rest
For I am the shelter and you are my rain
May our hearts never betray us
By the light of our candle
By the seed our flame
My thoughts are with you as I remember our love
By the sound of the rain
So long I have waited to hold you this night
Till the morning that comes with the first rays of light
