Urban Mass
Soulful caress of a summers kiss
Among the mild unrest of the urban mass
Concrete confusion lights are flashing
Sirens ringing screaming scratching fill the air
Smoke filled bellows down the lane
Just killed a fellow, no it's not the same
As playing a game in the life rich bingo
Concrete rivers, shiver, quiver, sliver
Beneath the streets so nice and neat
Swamp rat Sammy to the sewer alley
Water flows life's drain will show
Left behinds of yesterdays long lost
Thoughts of violence turned innocence
Run away's home of deliverance
As the new redefined the old in the usual way
Just the same as they did yesterday
