What Is Truth And What Is Rhyme

Eclipsed by shadows beyond the expanse of time
What is truth and what is rhyme
Rhyming beats within thy heart
Vested now, where tears depart

Solum vowel that I now take
Where are thou for goodness sake
Beside the brook, where I now wait
Is there light beyond the lake

Grains of sand slip through my fingers
Where I now wait so limp yet limber

Speckled stars upon this night
Questions blend before my sight
Is there hope within this light
Starlight shone before my eyes this sacred night

Where once I was humbled beside your flame
And now I rest in the embers vein, charred remains
But still the same
