Caught Among The Purple Haze
Merely marbled grains of sand
Pass so swiftly through my hand
Waves crash in sound of song
Passage paved, the day is long
Merely you gest and I'm amazed
Caught among the purple haze
Solemn has the heavens known
Surrendered gifts, which I have shown
Sombre morning in daylight glisten
There is heart awakened, listen
Passing verb upon my tongue
Listen as the heavens hum
Sound the harps of havens song
Among the flowers, daylight gone
Cast no shadows in the shaded
Among the clouds in distant grey
Pebbled rain, like grains of sand
Pass so swiftly across this land
