Crimson Shadows Lie In Wait
Twilight echoes the fall of leaves
Echoes whispered hallowed breeze
Sweet and slender fade to black
The faded canvas seemed so blank
Speckled light caresses among the path of leaves
Rest yonder traveller rest with ease
Twain the light to cast a shadow
Heavy breath I couldn’t follow
Even if it seems so mellow
There is time, when it seems hollow
Crimson leaves in golden ring
Fall among the fae of limbs
Tinderbox of bottled brown
Fall among the leaves in sound
Whispers solitude thoughts allude
Even splendour in my mood
To feel your splendour falling rain
Lingering thoughts I can’t explain
Summersets bid farewell as autumn comes
Casting shadows beneath the sun
Sombre flowers beneath the dawn
Crimson shadows lie in wait
