Carried By The Winds

If I tried to count the thoughts of what I’ve learnt and what I was taught to have bared my soul before the world and to hear the criticism that it had hurled one day in life and life unjust then pass away and turn to rust

Carried By The Winds

If I tried to count the thoughts
Of what I’ve learnt and what I was taught
To have bared my soul before the world
And to hear the criticism that it had hurled

One day in life and life unjust
Then pass away and turn to rust
Contemplate as I have done
Then to learn the power, as known by one

Cobblestones had lined the brook
And yet it seemed to have such a gentle look
Sparrows seem to hover around
Carried by the winds without a sound

Cloud drift in the heavens slowly by
And yet I felt the feelings that made me cry
Saddened tears had swept my heart
And here I was but where to start

Was there a light to lead me out
I had no need to twist and shout
Lonely be the loner heart
Then passage be thy tears that have depart
