Comprehend

Silhouette, I fade to black
Mirrored reflections how should I react
One mans gun and another mans pain
Pitter patter on the ceiling is it acid rain

Comprehend

Silhouette, I fade to black
Mirrored reflections how should I react
One mans gun and another mans pain
Pitter patter on the ceiling is it acid rain

My heart yearns as the soul applauses
Beside still waters, oceans roar!
Comprehend for just one moment, but a singular notion
My hearts endeavours are an endless ocean

Thoughts are gathered like birds on the winds
To comprehend that I’m more then a whim

Mirrored thoughts cast my reflections
And there are times in the thoughts I’m projecting
My heart yearns like, a candle in the wind
To utter these words but how to begin

Like the grains of sand on my feet
Following steps, so lonely and sweet
Chapped are my lips and cracked are my hands
Mirrored reflections, cast among resting sands

My heart yearns with a singular notion
One man sees, through another one tears
To count my own blessing, void of my fears!
Fear not less ye are of my years

Like the grains of marble sands
With the hope that you see that I might understand!
My heart’s a beacon caught in the breeze
Lonely wee traveller, alone in the leaves
