County Court
The day begins with the opening of the doors
As the judge approaches the court room
And the people are asked to stand
The judge enters and sits
She then asks the gallery to be seated
The people sit and the case is under way
The judge asks both counsels to approach her
And asks "what is the defendants plea"
The defendant answers slowly
She asks the prosecuting counselor to call his first witness
The jury listens to the testimony of the witness
And then the next one
And until all is heard and done
Then the jury leave the court room
To make their deliberation
The jury returns to the court room a short time later
The Judge asks the jury foreman for their deliberation
The foreman answers
"Your honor, Guilty"
