Essence Of Christmas

Bows and colored ribbons
Presents stacked neatly underneath
The Christmas tree
Stockings hung over the fire place
Every girl and boys hope and dream
Tinsel decorations, bells and candy canes
An angel upon the tree top or star just for a change
The look of anticipation
Upon a child's face as they see the tree
Filled with presents upon Christmas morning
Put a smile upon the faces
Of every girl and boy
The sound of Christmas carols
Ring throughout the air
bringing a message of hope and joy
To every girl and boy
At this special time of year
