Even When The Daylight Left
Cast among these cobbled stones
Is it true, I’m walking in the world alone?
On foot upon the pave way peat, and I am deep
My heart bathed in substance and depth
Even when the daylight left
Does anyone see, how much I care?
Is anyone else out there?
My heart glistens in the morning sky
Towards the heavens as I scry
My body meek before the moon
Basking in the sea of June
Solace made me half a man
Caught within the tidal sands
Grain pebbles bound my feet
To this heart I must be sweet
No notion in life and love the same
Less ye know thy place, and I am vain
