Even When
Ponder for one moment, a notion
For I have echoed like the ocean
Once I was too proud to beg
And wandered around with weaken legs
Seen peering through the looking glass
At the visions of my past
Was I shallow, like the muse
Caught among the soul abuse
Beaten by the harshest words
Embarrassed by the things I heard
I've held the heart within my hand
And contemplated notions, understand
No two arrows pass the vein
And in those times, my hearts reframed
Shall I wait beside the sea
Welcoming souls, such as ye
Ye have known thy heart in verse
