I Felt The Sun
Beneath the canopy in the shade
Grooming feathers where they laid
Ducks would quack and wander around
Hallows earth on solid ground
Black birds foraged
Through the blades of grass
While the ducks rested in the shade
As I listened to the birds in song
I felt the sun upon my legs
And gentle breeze caresses my hair
I watched as the dragonflies
Circled around the flax
Riddles sounded by their quacks
Glistening softly as it lapsed
As I watched the river bend
Bubbles rose from a distant land
