I’m A Humanitarian At Heart
I’m a humanitarian at heart
And there are events in this world
That brings a tear to my heart
Earthquakes tremble in distant lands
And I am bound by my hands
What make sense among these streets?
As rubble lays beneath my feet
I was lucky to survive
While many others lost their very lives
My heart sheds a tear for someone
And for all, the unknown of what is to come
Children starving in the street
In search of something good to eat!
War has ravaged distant lands
As children gathered with guns held in their hands
Where did the age of harmony go
Throughout the ages of what we’ve known
The human spirit had endured
With the sense of something pure
There are tears and distant cries
As one child lives and another dies
There are towns of mud and peat
Where children play in dusty streets
And I support children with special needs
Because even they are tomorrows seeds
This humanitarian sheds a tear
For all of those, who live in fear!
No injustice is ever right
But I have my faith, in humanity’s plight!
