Sonnet - Linger

Like a sash of tiny poesy
I am filled, and filled with feeling
The flutter of wings, and I feel rosé
And like a scar, I sense I'm slowly healing

Sonnet: Linger

Like a sash of tiny poesy
I am filled, and filled with feeling
The flutter of wings, and I feel rosé
And like a scar, I sense I'm slowly healing
Time may heal, as it's been said
And hope does linger, upon my thoughts of thee
Its better to have feeling then walk through the valley of dead
See love has passed right through me
Deemed it be by thy hand, then thy harp
I'm a muse in marble, walking in the light
No coverings could ever replace my heart
Even when I'm tearful in the still of night
Heavenly rainbows seem to always weep
Silent whispers echo, as I speak
