Matchstick, No Light For A Cigarette
Matchstick, no light for a cigarette
Cool tidings, no time for my own regret
Mirrored reflection they shatter my mind
Gathered are the feelings, which I intertwine
Fear is here and it’s here for a minute
A scratching at the window, I wonder who it is
Is it for me to give you a second glance
Would there be favour, if I gave you a second chance
Twilight falls and I’m bound by my innocence
To ponder my feelings as they’re disappearing
Yesterday gone as I stare at the ceiling
Whisper in moonlight, as I dance in the rain
To dwell in my pulse, as it pass through my vein
Whatever I’ve shed as you entered my skin
To breathe of your essences, as I’m breathing you in
To cater to feelings and answer your whims
To lay in your essences, before the light comes flooding in
To utter these words as my heart beat begins
