Misty Mountain Valley Blue

Sombre scent of summer rain
Mirrored reflection I can’t explain
My thoughts linger in the wind
To utter through where life begins

My hearts vessel, yearns among the hue
Misty mountain valley blue
Tidal sands below my feet
Virtue of my honey sweet

My soul mirrors my reflection
Inner feelings in my affection
Purity in humbled thoughts
Alas this wisdom, I was taught

My heart beckons the passionate flame
Mirrored emotions I can’t explain
Is my life the breath I’m living in?
Iridescent light awaits within

My mirror cast no shadows
How I’m humbled by the hallow
Moonlight echoes sunrise sets
Faded in my noble steps
