My Body Be Thy Temple

My body be thy temple of my heart
A river of dreams, which I impart
Dream of me my daylight lover
Beggar of dreams, my daylight brother

My Body Be Thy Temple

My body be thy temple of my heart
A river of dreams, which I impart
Dream of me my daylight lover
Beggar of dreams, my daylight brother

Seldom is it foretold
A cherished heart is never sold
Passion lingers on my lips
To ooze beneath my finger tips

The subtle wind upon my skin
To cherish the light kept within
My body be thy temple of my thoughts
In all the lessons, I was taught

My body be thy temple of light
That marks the soul within, upon this night
Where the soul resides, beside the nearby arks
There is hidden depth within my heart

Spiritual light that dwells within
Candle light upon therein
Heaven knows the gift within
That dwells beneath my gentle skin
