Saddened As My Heart May Be

As I have felt depression piercing like a knife
And suicide is never an answer to end ones life
I may of tried it once or twice
And I learned that my soul admired life

Saddened As My Heart May Be

As I have felt depression piercing like a knife
And suicide is never an answer to end ones life
I may of tried it once or twice
And I learned that my soul admired life

Saddened as my heart may be
With saddened eyes I’ve looked at thee
Do you see my heart in pain?
Like echoed thunder and falling rain

Depression seems to pull me in
As the heart within slowly dims
Tearful are the eyes of my lids
There are feelings in which I hide

Once my face had shown smiles
And now I’ve lost the sense to smile
Sunken eyes and torn apart
Vessels bleeding as I’m torn apart

Thou may see me in my despair
And I have sensed you are out there
One tiny footstep along the darken path
A sense of fear, alone in the dark

Troubled are, the thoughts inside of me
Like tidal swells upon the open sea
Tiny voices don’t speak to me
Though I might be torn to threads

I’m humble be the seeds I shed
Within this confusion, as I lay my head
