See Me

See this is the real me!
Not who I want to be
Scraping through day to day
Living life among the clay

See Me

See this is the real me!
Not who I want to be
Scraping through day to day
Living life among the clay

Watch as the world goes by
Questioning the reasons why
How can one have so much depth!
Living on the rim of death

No money for my pride
Just passion felt deep inside
Does the world! Understand how I feel
Is this a dream or something real?

Caught beneath the mound of debt
Dealing with the hand I'm dealt
Open to the things I've felt

For there's a passion deep inside
I feel no need to run and hide
Life can be so harsh at times
Troubled thoughts plague my mind

But in my heart I'm always open
With the passion of my notions
For there is passion felt inside
And still I stand with a sense of pride

Yes I maybe a famous poet
But I'm no fool! And my eyes show it
Treat me as a loving man
Walk with me both hand in hand

Through the valley and the trees
Resting in my arms! With ease
I will be thy noble friend
Till the day of my end

No heart could comprehend
The love I hold in me my friend
My heart sounds a single bow
Against the winds, that always flows

For I am born of skin and bone
And yes I walk this world alone
There's no prison in my heart
Beauty breathes! In every part

Thou are no lesser, then me
For my heart has no absentee
When I love I love a whole
With my heart, and my soul
